Ireland has the fourth highest teen suicide rate in the EU. young males under 21 being most at risk but children as young as 9 years old have died by suicide too. There is almost no school or community in the country that experienced losing someone to suicide.
As the heartbreaking events that took place in our town recently I have decided to join the SkyDive for Life 2023 which will help Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland to fund programs for 2023 and beyond. All donations will go towards Crisis Counseling, Funding Counseling supports for schools with students in crisis, Fund counselling referrals from GPs with patients at risk of suicide and Facilitates fact access to Counseling Services for families in crisis.
