Thank you for visiting my Campaign Page. I am fundraising on behalf of Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland. YSPI focus on providing mental health awareness and suicide prevention programmes to schools and colleges. Their facilitators work directly with the students promoting awareness, providing skills and advice. They also provide a wide range of online training, youth and suicide prevention publications on top of all this they provide free funding to children, teenagers and young adults for immediate access to crisis counselling for the person at risk. Unfortunately suicide is the 2nd highest cause of death amongst young people across the world and Ireland is no spared from this problem which effects every community across the country. Teachers and schools are a crucial part in developing personalities, social skills and self worth in a young person and school based intervention programmes are an important way of reducing suicide rates. I would be very grateful for your support in helping me meet my personal target for this amazing charity.
